We were on the hunt for birria tacos in La Junta, but none to be found. We saw Mauricio's and stopped in. This is the real deal! The relleno burrito was awesome, and cheese enchiladas were spot on! This is a must-stop when passing through.
Freezing cold but delicious Carne-asada quesadilla and fish taco. The chicken taco was a bit dry, but good.

I’ve eaten here now for 2 years and this place is the best Mexican food in the valley.. Chili Verde very much worth getting every time. Also the shredded beef tacos are just perfect!! Both sauces red/green have a place on each dish. I get both with my food... breakfast lunch and dinner all have been done well.. Amazing service and food is always on point.. My favorite spot in La Junta!!
This is the cleanest and nicest little restaurant. The lady at the front counter was precious and the breakfast burrito was ginormous and delicious!! Great find while passing through.
The staff were very friendly but the food was even better! I will absolutely be coming back for more!
